Lynn sent us (A.A.P.I.) some photos and asked us to take a look at them to determine what the anomalies are.

INTRODUCTION & HISTORY:

The mansion was apparently built over an old cemetery and while the bodies were exhumed the coffin of a woman named Hannah was found to be empty. Why her body was never interred remains a mystery. In one of the bathrooms a woman was found drowned to death and while the police did suspect foul play there were no leads in the case and it was eventually closed.
The photographer, Lynn, has a friend who lived in the house for approximately 5 years and has related some of his experiences while staying there. At one point in time he reported seeing the image of a child looking out of a second story window even though there were no children in the house at the time. Also he has seen apparitions of what he believes to a coven (of occultists?) ascending the stairs from the basement. While in the basement both he and the photographer report having shortness of breath for no apparent reason. He also had many of the “common” experiences associated with hauntings (doors opening for no reason, hearing voices while alone, etc.) and he states that others that were sometimes with him would witness the same events. He believes that the house is home to two different entities, one a malevolent spirit who would haunt his dreams and the other a female protector who would try to ward off the other.
Even more recently the family who had been living there fled the house leaving all of their belongings behind. No explanation for this behavior has yet been discovered. Lynn, while exploring the house shortly thereafter reports that the batteries in her camera would suddenly go dead in one room and then mysteriously “recharge” after she left. While no one from the A.A.P.I. team has personally visited the site we did take a look at Lynns’ photos and will reveal our findings in this report.

INITIAL INVESTIGATION DETAILS & FINDINGS:

The photos that were sent to us did show some anomalies that we felt needed looking into. The first photo showed two “orbs” in the upper middle window and main doorway on the ground floor. The right hand upper and lower windows also showed some mysterious shapes. The final picture, taken in the basement, shows a bright yellow spot of unknown origins.
The first bluish “orb” in the upper middle window I believe is a refraction of sunlight caused by the crossbar in the window frame. The “orb” in the doorway is probably light refraction as well but it is difficult to say for sure. The shapes in the lower right hand window appear to be reflections of the plants that are just in front of the same window. The shapes in the upper right hand window, however, show the face of a young child looking down and to his right. While this may be a trick of the light, I believe the face is too clearly defined to be an illusion. Finally the yellow “orb” in the basement photo was later shown, by the photographer, to be a bicycle reflector.

SUBJECTIVE IMPRESSIONS:

Never having actually been to the site it is hard to get much of an impression, however I believe Lynn is sincere and is truly looking for answers as opposed to trying to commit a hoax. The face in the upper right hand window is very startling and I believe it is a true apparition. My gut instinct tells me there is indeed paranormal activity this house and a more in depth investigation is warranted.

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS:
As stated earlier I believe that this house does have various types of paranormal activity and a full investigation may be in order.
